La adolescencia es una etapa donde las conductas sexuales de riesgo suelen ser altas debido al inicio temprano de las relaciones sexuales, lo que puede incrementar las infecciones de transmisión sexual y embarazos no deseados, comprometiendo la salud y el desarrollo psicosocial. El objetivo de este estudio es explorar la relación entre los rasgos de personalidad y las conductas sexuales de riesgo en adolescentes. Se realizó una revisión sistemática bajo el enfoque cuantitativo y el protocolo PRISMA, consultando las bases de datos Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed y Dimensions.ai para el periodo 2014-2024. Se identificaron inicialmente 2377 estudios, de los cuales se incluyeron 10 artículos empíricos que cumplieron los criterios de elegibilidad. Los resultados indican que rasgos como la impulsividad y la búsqueda de sensaciones están fuertemente asociados con conductas sexuales de riesgo. En conclusión, es fundamental considerar estos rasgos individuales para diseñar intervenciones preventivas eficaces y adaptadas a las necesidades específicas de la población adolescente.

Adolescence is a stage where risky sexual behaviors are usually high due to the early onset of sexual relations, which can increase sexually transmitted infections and unwanted pregnancies, compromising health and psychosocial development. The objective of this study is to explore the relationship between personality traits and risky sexual behaviors in adolescents. A systematic review was conducted under a quantitative approach and the PRISMA protocol, consulting the Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, and Dimensions.ai databases for the period 2014-2024. Initially, 2377 studies were identified, of which 10 empirical articles that met the eligibility criteria were included. The results indicate that traits such as impulsivity and sensation seeking are strongly associated with risky sexual behaviors. In conclusion, it is essential to consider these individual traits to design effective preventive interventions adapted to the specific needs of the adolescent population.
